A place to work, learn, connect & gather
Sanders Place is an award-winning, architecturally designed space in Naarm (Melbourne), created for professionals and organisations focused on social and environmental impact. Once a modest brick factory, it’s been transformed into a light-filled, character-rich workplace using salvaged and repurposed materials retained on-site.
More than just a workspace, Sanders Place fosters connection and growth through a regular program of events, including lunchtime conversations, evening panels and after-work drinks. Some events are for members, others are open to the public.
The space received the 2024 Sir Osborn McCutcheon Award and the 2024 National Architecture Award for Commercial Architecture.
We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of this land and pay our respects to Elders past and present. The building has undergone a full environmental retrofit guided by Finding Infinity.
Sanders Place is also available to hire for events, workshops and gatherings.
